Tare function: When using a container etc. to weigh another object, you want to know the exact weight of the object without the container’s added weight. The digital kitchen scale has a great tare function to accomplish just that. Start by placing the empty container on the weighing surface. The display will show you that empty weight. Press the on/off/tare button, and the weight reading will go down to “0”, effectively adjusting the measuring guide. Proceed to place the object into the container or plate, and thus get an accurate net weight reading.
The scale has two buttons – Power/Tare and unit conversion button.
It comes with a round LCD display with a beautiful backlight. The display size is large enough to view the readings easily.
The readings can be taken in grams (g) , Lbs , oz, ml.
Each button has a feather touch. It functions with a light finger touch.
At the back side of the kitchen scale, there is a hollow which acts as a hook to hang the scale on the wall.
The backside also has the battery compartment for power. The food weight scale runs on 3AAA batteries.
How to Use:
Switch on the Kitchen weighing machine by pressing the Power On button.
Place the bowl provided with the kitchen scale on top so that it fits inside the rubber. The scale will display the bowl weight.
Press the tare function button (T) to set the readings to 0.
Now you can place the desired object for weight inside the bowl and take the readings from the LCD screen of the food scale.
